Giacosa 1815
The story of Giacosa begins, destined to echo across time.
Founded in Turin in 1815, by 1860 it had arrived in Florence, establishing itself as a landmark for the city’s elite. In 1927, it relocated to Via Tornabuoni, within the historic walls once known as 'Casoni'.

It was there, in 1919, that a simple request forever changed the art of mixology.
Count Cammillo Negroni asked bartender Fosco Scarselli to add a measure of gin to his Americano. In that moment, an icon was born: the Negroni, now recognized as one of the world’s most celebrated cocktails. Since 1927, Giacosa has embraced that legacy in the former Casoni space, becoming the true guardian of a revolution and elegantly sustaining a tradition that lives on.
Today, just steps away from its original location, Giacosa begins a new chapter, one that celebrates a heritage of international renown while preserving the timeless allure and enduring quality that made the Negroni a legend.
